Dear Parents and Caregivers
As we reach the end of term 3, I would like to thank our tamariki, you and the staff at BMPS. It wasn’t quite the term that we expected but together we did it!
Term 3 will finish this Friday. It is definitely time for everyone to get offline, to put the learning packs away and to have a break. School will finish on Friday at 1pm.
This Friday is also the final day at BMPS for Miss Sana Khan who has been Kahu 3’s teacher. We wish Sana well. We welcome Mrs Jude Shelley who will be Kahu 3’s teacher for the rest of 2021.
We are hopeful that Auckland will move to Alert Level 2 and will allow us all to return to school for Term 4-we can’t wait to be back at BMPS with our tamariki. Our teachers are preparing to be at school and will also plan in the event that we are still at Alert Level 3 and working online.
Dates for term 4:
Monday 18 October- start of term 4
Monday 25 October-Labour Day: BMPS will be closed
Wednesday 24 November/Thursday 25 November-parent/teacher/tamariki learning meetings
Thursday 9 December-BMPS prize giving assembly
Thursday 9 December-year 6 graduation
Monday 13 December-final day of the year for tamariki
Tuesday 14 December-teacher only day
Have a wonderful break. We will be in touch in the second week of the holidays with information about term 4.
Take care.
Fee McAree-Ngaau
